Adam B. Cohen, MD, is a board certified orthopedic surgeon at Mount Sinai Roosevelt, and is Director of Sports Medicine in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.  He has a particular interest in meniscus injuries, cartilage replacement techniques and ligament reconstruction of the knee. He also has extensive experience with shoulder injuries, including rotator cuff tears, labral injuries and arthritic conditions.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Cohen served from 2004-2009 as the assistant team physician for the New York Yankees, and since 2004, has been the team physician for the Horace Mann School, in Riverdale, New York. He has published several papers and book chapters, with a particular emphasis on anterior cruciate ligament injuries and patellar dislocations, and has given several talks on injury prevention to endurance athletes.
